Some seriously good coffee from Barcelona native, Jordi Carbonell. Try the Don Bigote (Mr. Mustache) - a mocha with a pinch of hot pepper to warm the cockles of your heart.

This is a personal favorite of mine - great brews and delicious pizza! Plus it's in the heart of Midtown so it's only a 15 minute walk from Virginia Park and it's surrounded by shopping and other great restaurants!

You will need a car or an Uber to get to Belle Isle but it's so worth it! Rich with history and natural beauty, Belle Isle Park is a Detroit gem and Michigan's 102nd state park.
The 987-acre island park features a beautiful fountain - perfect for photos - a conservatory, golf practice facility, maritime museum, an aquarium, picnic areas and more. The park includes three lakes, 150 acres of wooded area and spectacular views of the Detroit and Windsor skyline. If driving a Recreation Passport is required for entry, which you can purchase at the park entrance for $11.
