Concalma's bags are probably one of locals favorite totes. Designed by our friend Matilsha, Concalma, which means "with calm”, aims to raise awareness of fair trade, the importance of local design and manufacturing as well as promoting sustainable practices. Among books, literary encounters, sculptures, movie nights, sound works, theater, design, the aroma of coffee, the surprises of the garden and the denseness of honey, this place always has something interesting going on.

One of our favorite places in Old San Juan, El Bastion is a multidisciplinary cultural center recovered and self-managed by a group of artists, with the intention of promoting the development of the arts in general.
The historic building abandoned for decades, was rehabilitated with much love by the same artists that worked tirelessly for a year. Much of the material used in the rehabilitation was recycled from the same space,
changing the shape and location, to get a better use of it.
In El Bastión, residences are generated for artists nationally and internationally. It is a space where something cool is always happening.
