It's hard to find the right words to describe the Flowage, but if you have experienced it, you understand. If you haven't, you need to. This lake-meets-river water body provides over 14,000 acres of exploration opportunity. Various islands are scattered throughout, providing good spots for temporary camp-outs or dock-and-swim time. Several bars and resorts are also accessible by boat. Famous for its fishing and sheer uniqueness, the Flowage is truly something special. (Pro tip: There is a rope swing on one of the islands... buy a local a beer and they might tell you how to find it.)
