Walks on Regents Canal (East and West)

North of my place is Regents Canal, - on the west it offers a nice 2-hour walk to Camden, Regents Park (you arrive at the top between Primrose Hill and the park), then Little Venice - on the east, it goes to Angel a lovely area, (it goes underground for 10 min walk and then continues east to Hoxton, Dalston, Broadway market (lively on Saturday), Columbia Flower Market (livley on Sundays) and Victoria park (approx 2 hours). You can continue all the way down to Canary Wharf (another 2 / 3 hours)

Shows / musicals in the West End

If you would like to book a musical for your stay, below a few popular ones: (-) Lion King (-) Mama Mia (-) 42nd street - the story of an american 50s dancing show (-) Matilda based on Roald Dahl story (-) other popular shows include Les Misérables, Wicked (adaptation of the Wizard of Oz), Hamilton (I watched it - you need a strong English - even better if you know some American hip hop vocabulary!). (-) I also watched the Book of Mormon, a good laugh but a bit overrated. (-) For Harry Potter, you need to book well in advance 2 3-hour tickets (-)(-) You can rely on last minute ticker but the best shows wont be available. Best is to book something during the week, will be less expensive than during the weekend.
