A great place, several minute walk from the apartment in Shuttle Street, next to the Sma Shot Cottage serving Italian food. We like the casual atmosphere and great selection of food and normally get half pizza/half pasta plates, the best of both worlds!

Historical Interest
Paisley has the most listed buildings within a small space, second only to Edinburgh and we are lucky enough to be within walking distance of them. Here are some places not to be missed when visiting Paisley.
The Old Shawl Factory sits in the shadow of this amazing abbey which dates from the 12th century. William Wallace is said to have been educated here, there is a stained glass window in the Southern aisle of the Abbey depicting him. There are free tours of the Abbey, Monday to Saturday and music concerts and events take place throughout the year.

Right next to Paisley Abbey you will find the Town Hall. It is closed to the public at present as part of a 22 million pound refurbishment plan and will open to the public again in 2022 as a landmark entertainment venue but you can take a look outside at this grand building.

Five minutes walk will take you to this fully restored and furnished 18th century weavers cottages with photographs, artefacts of local interest and a tearoom. There is also a row of mill workers house from the 1840s. Admission is free and you can visit between April to September.
