Parking in Franschhoek is free. Please do not give money to anyone for "looking after" or "watching" your car. This money encourages loitering and is often diverted to drugs and alcohol abuse.

Using ATM's
Absolutely DO NOT accept help when using the ATM bank machines. Also, do not be misled into "paying for parking at the ATM". Parking is free in Franschhoek and anyone who suggests you need to pay for it at the ATM is trying to steal from you.
