Great traditional Cologne-style "Brauhaus". Not so touristy like the Gaffel or Früh breweries. They still brew their own Kölsch beer right across the beer garden. It cannot be any fresher than that!

One of my favorite cocktail bars in Cologne. It's located in the vibrant Friesenstraße. High-quality and creative cocktail creations. The owners put a lot of effort and attention to detail in creating the interior of the bar. A small gem in the Friesenstraße and loved by locals. Can be crowded during prime time as location not that big.

Obviously the number 1 attraction here in Cologne. Visiting the church's interior is free of charge. Tickets for the treasure chamber or the 533 stairs tower-climb can be purchased at the site. Check for more info and opening times: https://www.koelner-dom.de/index.php?id=19167&L=1 It is possible to book guided tours for the roof or the ancient Roman foundations. A cable car ride across the river Rhein is not only a fast way to travel from the Cologne Zoo to the Rheinpark but also a nice opportunity to see Cologne from above.

Perfect for a short walk along the river Rhine and close to the old town. Look out for the striking colourful facades of the "Stapelhäuschen" buildings at the old fish market or explore the small alleys along the way.
