Owners are super friendly and helpful.
You can hire bikes (including electric -brand new Trek ones this year) for 1/2 or full day and the company will deliver and collect from your airbnb location at no extra cost.
The organisers are super friendly and really helpful and offer full instruction if it's your first time using an electric bike.

Next to Riverside Tea rooms in Houghton Bridge is Riverside Boat Hire which hires out boats with outboard motors. I haven't hired a boat, but some of my guests have and have said that it's great fun.

Firstly, it's super handy from my airbnb in Houghton Bridge - just a short walk/ stagger across the road.
