I love The Flying Chesnut! The weekend brunch is always exquisite and the coffee they serve is so good, that I plan to order my own case for the log cabin. You can also make dinner reservations and leave the kids at home.

This golf course is both challenging and rewarding. It is kept in great condition all year round and you get to enjoy the views of Georgian Bay as you play each hole.

This is a well maintained course and has never been very busy each time that I've gone. Don't let the clubhouse throw you, this is a hidden gem.

The Allan Park Conservation Area is literally right across the road and we have our own private entrance. With over 162 hectares of rolling forested landscape and the impressive pond area, Allan Park is a terrific location to spend an afternoon.

It's a small casino but has most of the games you would expect in a larger casino. It's attached to the racetrack and has a surprising good restaurant with some great beers on tap.

We haven't had the opportunity yet, but come summer, you can be sure we'll be there. I have great memories of going to the drive-in as a kid and want to make sure we share that with our kids.
