Hikes

The North Face Trail: From the Allmendhubelbahn, the hike starts in a southerly westerly direction. First through the Blumental (Pension Sonnenberg area). Then a short but tough climb in the direction of Schiltgrat. This takes about 15 minutes. However, the view is unforgettable, look at Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. More or less at the same level, the tour then goes through beautiful meadows. Here comes the opportunity at Alpwirtschaf Schiltalp something to use. Particularly simple, but with fresh milk products and cheese. Then the tour continues in the Schilttal valley towards Spielboden. After this there are several possibilities, through to Stechelberg, Gimmelwald or to Mürren (again some climbing). Sprutz is particularly attractive. You really walk under a waterfall.
This walk is perfect for families with children. The walk takes about 1 hour, but it is advisable to take regular breaks to enjoy the beautiful views. Along the way there is also a fireplace where you could BBQ, so bring sausage and bread with you.

A hike and climbing experience that you won't forget soon! Rent your equipment at Sportshop Staeger and take this walk with or without a guide. The walk takes about 3 hours and is quite strenuous. Good shoes are necessary. The walk is not recommended if you are afraid of heights... The whole path is secured with a climbing harness, from Mürren to Gimmelwald. Definitely a must to do!
