The current 27 holes are a combination of the original Harry Colt design from 1932 and the newer holes designed by the well-known J. Hamilton Stutt, a founder member of the Association of British Golf Course Architects which were completed in 1992.

Highcliffe Castle Golf Club is located on the edge of the New Forest with sea glimpses through the beautiful tree canopy surrounding the course.
The eighteen hole parkland course is beautifully kept and provides a challenge to golfers of all abilities. The terrain is easy walking and the tree lined fairways with small greens mean that accuracy is more important than length off the tee. There is a number of testing par threes, which have to be mastered if you are to score well.
