Great river to Kayak. Launch from near Saltfleet Street Port Noarlunga or Kayak lauching facility on River Road or put kayak in at Old Noarlunga. River meanders, can paddle under a few bridges, passes Onkaparinga Conservation Park. Variety of birdlife - pelicans, herons, ibis, egrets, black swans etc.
Can also try your luck at fishing.

Snorkel the reef at the end of the jetty. There are steps & launching platform to make it easier to get into the water not far from the reef. Variety of fish can be viewed. Recommended you stay on the inside of the reef. At low tide can walk on the reef.
