Santa Catalina is nice with many many good restaurants, coffe in the morning at Claro or El Perrito, also for night life it's the place to be, the whole street Carrer de Sant Magi is busy in the evenings. On Saturdays try to have lunch in the Santa Catalina Market anywhere between 12:00 and 16:00 this is a very nice experience, busy but fun and your chance to taste many local dishes for good prices. You can even buy your own fresh fish and get it cooked by a small stall on in the corner of the market.
