Equally quaint and as mellow as Driggs, but well worth checking out. 18min away on the way toward east entrance into Wyoming by way of Teton Pass.
Look for Music on Main Street in the summertime and awesome live music at The Knotty Pine. The Knotty is tiny and tickets go quick so plan in advance.
Victor Emporium serves up it's infamous Huckleberry Shakes - perfect way to end a long hot mountain bike ride.

Victor

The WEST Yellowstone National Park Entrance is about 1 hour and 45 minutes north of us. The entrance is through the town of West Yellowstone, Montana.
The SOUTH Yellowstone National Park Entrance is about 2 hours and 15 minutes away - accessed by driving over Teton Pass into Wyoming and then heading north into Grand Teton National Park which will take you to the south entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
As far as Grand Teton National Park, the entry to this area (on this west side of the Teton Range) can be accessed just 2.2 miles north of our place at Teton Canyon where there is a parking lot with trails and waterfalls just steps away. You can also drive further into the canyon to access more trails that take you into the Teton Range from this west side of the mountain range.
I would highly encourage looking at a map to understand that the Teton Range and Grand Teton National Park can truly be accessed from both the west side and the east side. (And similar with Yellowstone being in WY and MT.) The Teton mountain range straddles the states of Idaho and Wyoming as it sits on the state line. Sometimes you will be in Wyoming and from this Idaho side you will often be weaving back and forth sometimes being in Wyoming and sometimes being in Idaho whether driving around from our condo up to Grand Targhee Ski and Summer Resort, or accessing trails and hiking in these areas. Yellowstone National Park
The WEST Yellowstone National Park Entrance is about 1 hour and 45 minutes north of us. The entrance is through the town of West Yellowstone, Montana.

The Upper and Lower Falls are the last major fall to resist human control on the Snake River. Located just outside of Ashton, ID, this is a convenient place to stretch your legs on the way back to Teton Valley from West Yellowstone.

From cheap eats to a couple few spots for foodies and coffee lovers.
If you're a hardcore foodie, know that Teton Valley nor Jackson Hole is NYC nor any other world renowned foodie town (wink wink), but there are a few gems!
$1 Tacos on Tuesdays, pretty great margaritas that don't taste like processed sweet/tart mix (order the Lime). Nice servers :)
