With an ever changing menu, you can always find something good here. This is one of our go-to's. More than a dozen drafts to choose from and 6 rotating local brews on draft. Also: the cucumber martini is life changing.

This is a cool little place with great food! Lively atmosphere. Come here, hang out with cool people. Good wine list. There's limited parking in the back - you can park on the side streets.

This tapas joint is excellent! It's pretty new, it's the second location for this restaurant. Its super close to our house so if you wanted to go there to party, you could just walk home afterwards. There is a parking lot in the front and additional parking in the rear.

A lively place in the evening - great happy hour with live music - this is a really cool local establishment where you also can grab a quiet lunch. Great food - and for a good cause! So far, this has to be our favorite French restaurant. They have daily specials which are amazing - and if you're an early bird, they have a wonderful coffee bar with pastries 7am-11am. Grab a coffee and pastry and sit by the window and people watch - or grab & go and walk around Carytown!

If Starbucks isn't your thing - you've got to check out Lamplighter. There's a few locations in the Richmond area, but the Roast Lab is my personal favorite. It's not very big, and rarely super busy - but you can get a fancy cold brew handmade by some local hipsters. It's quintessential Richmond... like craft breweries.
