The kitchen is located in former shipping containers and a few little shops surround the garden. Come here for lunch when walking along the Viaduktbögen or at night when the bar opens and live music plays to attract a young, hip crowd.
Not suited for rainy weather or very tight budgets.

This is one of our favorite restaurants for a casual dinner. It's just around the corner from our apartment and they cook great, modern Italian cuisine with a vast variety of ingredients. We especially recommend their risottos. Come here for lunch or dinner. There is a garden in the summer.

This is a great little museum that is ADMISSION FREE and has changing, mostly contemporary art exhibitions. We ourselves enjoy strolling along the river and spontaneously pop in for a look at the work. Both international and local artists.

The Sihl river runns down from the Üetliber mountain through the city and unites with the Limmat near the main station. Along this street close to our apartment you can walk along the river, with green grass and tall trees forming a border between nature and the city.
