The hippest place to grab a beer and some cool food. The whole street is lined with local breweries like Crow Bar (check out the homemade pork crackling upstairs) or Torggata Bad, Oslos new street food food hall with tons of food stalls to choose from. Feel like the coolest local in Oslo! You can can the continue to walk towards the pier, or do it after a day out.

You can buy the best of Norwegian food here, amazing craft cheeses, and even local combucha, scandinavian chocolate, organic sweets for the kids and traditional sausage. Their eggs are fresh and their coffee and cafe is great! You can walk or take the tram from the apartment. If you’re into local food, sustainability and great flavors, this is the place to go and stock up!

Take the 12 tram all the way to the end at Kjelsås (10 min), and keep walking up after the tram stops (on Midtoddveien and then further). You will see a trail go into the woods to the left, and there you can walk around Maridalsvannet, the lake used as a reservoir for Oslo, and see the beautiful Oslo woods only 10 mins from the apartment!

It|s open for all to use after 5 on weekdays and on weekends all day, as well as during holidays! a great place to tire out the little ones. suitable for kids 1-8ish
