If you’ve come as far as Calgary, you MUST make the effort to see Banff! It’s simply stunning! Hikes all around with trail heads starting in the town, x-country ski trails also starting in the Banff town, downhill skiing at Sunshine Village, horse trail riding, golf, hot springs, etc.

Most Calgarians would rather visit Canmore instead of Banff as it’s not as busy and there are less tourists but it has everything Banff has except the Fairmont Hotel and hotsprings.
