We are about half an hour’s drive from one of the world’s most prestigious cooking schools, so it’s no surprise there’s so much excellent food to be had in the Hudson Valley. If you make dinner reservations at the CIA, you can sample cuisine prepared by the next generation of celebrity chefs--before they become famous. The views from this car-free bridge are incredible and easily accessible by foot or bike. When originally opened in 1888, the 6,768-foot span was considered the world’s longest bridge and an engineering marvel. Walkway Over the Hudson is is the longest elevated pedestrian bridge in the world!
