Charming Pockets / Neighbourhoods
Toronto is a city of many charming pockets and here I've listed some of my favourites. Most of them are within walking distance - depending on your eagerness to walk obviously! :)

Roncesvalles Avenue is home to some of the city’s most interesting espresso bars, craft beer bars, boutiques, and restaurants including Bandit Brewery, Likely General, Muttonhead, Scout, and Pizzeria Defina. And Toronto’s new Museum of Contemporary Art (Moca) is just a short stroll from the north end of Roncesvalles.

another large green space in an urban setting - lots to do - walk around, venture into the little shops around the park. definitely a different crowd (more younger I'd say) than the high park denizens.

If you're in the mood for cobblestone streets lined with hip indie restaurants, bars and boutiques, galleries, and outdoor sculptures, you might want to check it out! Probably the most touristy listing here - but very easy to access with the street car from the Dundas West station.
