Family owned restaurant that was recently featured in our local paper! They make their own bread daily & offers so much food for the price point. Service is great, food is even better! Super close to the house.

This place has KONA coffee! If you're looking for a coffee shop that has a beach vibe to it, look no further than this place. They have great smoothies, vegan/vegetarian offerings. Great service!

If you're looking to check out a weird dive bar, look no further. Not for the faint of heart, this place has interesting décor & even more interesting regulars. Ashley, Nicole, & Jenny are usually behind the bar and are so attentive & sweet. Nothing like hitting up (an awesome) happy hour with that crew.

They have a larger location off Kempsville that has plenty of outdoor games & Instagram worthy shots. Next door to this one is Pizza Chapel, a cool late night local pizza place. The brothers who opened it re-outfitted it from a former church.

Climb the “mount of trash” to see great views of the city & it’s sunsets. Also has a newly renovated playground for the kids & man-made lakes for those who like fishing!

The local’s beach. If you want to get away from the hustle & bustle of the Oceanfront strip, this is where you go. Sweet spot is anywhere 45th street & upwards. Parking is within the neighborhood across the street so make sure to watch out for cars crossing!
