Beautiful local sites

Between the bay Zanjic and the Cape Mirišta is the Mirište bay, which is the most attractive location of the Herceg Novi Riviera. In the bay is built a modern beach 'Masline' (Olives), which is a combination of concrete and sand. The beach stands out from the dense olive grove step by step and makes for a unique harmony with the sea, which only nature can give. The beach also has a restaurant where you can taste the specialties of this area.

The clock tower was bulit in 1667 by order of Sultan Mahmud. During Turkish rule, this was the main city gate. In the passage through the Clock Tower, there is a sculpture of the Mother of God called "The Black Virgin", because it is made of burnt wood, and she commemorates the founder Tvrtko I Kotromanić, made in the form of a bas-relief by Afran Hozić, from Sarajevo. Only in 1995 the old town clock on this tower was replaced by a new one - an electric one, donated by Zemun, a twin city of Herceg Novi. The clock tower is one of the symbols of the city.

The Blue Cave is one of the most attractive caves in the Lustica peninsula, located between Zlatna luka bay and Cape Mokra gora. It is 5.7 nm away from Herceg Novi. It is named after the unusually blue color that occurs during bright days, reflecting the sun's rays. The Blue Cave can be entered through two entrances. One entrance is very wide but also low, while the other is opposite - narrow and very high. The cave is attractive to both divers and others. It's a great location for photo safaris, both above and underwater. The cave is reached by boat.
