They invented the original “cronut” which sells out by noon every day, but most of the rest of their baked goods are wonderful as well. Go when they first open to avoid the big line!

Neighborhoods

Full of lots of restaurants, bars and cafes, lively and open late. Just walk East on Spring street and after you cross Lafayette Street you are here. Nolita stands for “North of Little Italy” so if you head south after you get to Nolita, you’ll be in famous Little Italy.

Very eclectic neighborhood with some of my favorite restaurants in NYC. Friday and Saturday nights the streets get jammed with people out on the town.

Just North of Houston Street only a block and a half away is the famed Greenwich Village. Take a walk to Washing Square Park or walk west to look at the beautiful old row houses and brownstones that have been there for more than 200 year... Lots of restaurants from cheap and quick “hole in the wall” and food trucks popular with New York University students to upscale foodie destination spots that most students can’t afford.
