This is Tavern is also just under three blocks from the home under the same street. It is directly next door to the Angry Baker. It is open for lunch and dinner. Excellent tavern food, happy hour pricing during the week including $1 pretzels. The locals hang out here and a big patio in back with a gas fire pit.

They have some creative pizzas and game room upstairs, small patio in back, wide beer selection on tap, and playing random movies on the TV. A well known place that residents come from all over the city to have the pizza.

A well known place that residents come from all over the city to have the pizza.
The Bistro originated as an extension of a farm to enable them to continue to do what they love and give back to the community.
Their goal is to use fresh local products and make delightful food at affordable prices.
The menu changes with seasons and it follows sustainable practices as much as possible.
Incredible happy hour for food and drinks...one of the best in town in our opinion. A very cozy place and intimate.

A small food menu, but they make all their wines on site. This wine is not aged, but many people like to hang out here for a change of pace.

This is not our favorite Kroger as parking is problematic, a bit tight, and the food selection is not always to a high standard, but it is close. If I have the time I would go to the Kroger in German Village, not far.
