Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, Cathedral Rock, Chapel of the Holy Cross, Broken Arrow Trail, are some of the red rocks vorteces in the south side of Sedona, AZ. Loop around the famous Sedona landmarks of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte. So many people walk all around the butte, along a sometimes rocky path that gives ever-changing views of the red rock surroundings, and in spring encounters many wildflower species. Cathedral Rock is a natural sandstone butte on the Sedona skyline and one of the most-photographed sights in Arizona Chapel of the Holy Cross Trail is a 1.3 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Sedona, Arizona that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and nature trips and is accessible year-round. Broken Arrow Trail is a 3.2 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Sedona, Arizona that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and mountain biking.
Bell Rock is one of the most easily recognizable formations in Sedona with its dome-like silhouette hovering close to Highway 179. Bell Rock is a butte just north of the Village of Oak Creek, Arizona, south of Sedona in Yavapai County. With an elevation at its summit of 4,919 feet, it is just west of Courthouse Butte. Its panoramic views make it a popular landmark and tourist attraction. A loop trail around Bell Rock does exist; however, it’s made up of the Bell Rock Pathway Trail, the Rector Connector, and the Courthouse Butte Trail. This circumference is approximately 1.8 miles. This multi-use trail is easy. It requires no scrambling, has only a slight elevation gain on the back half, and is heavily trafficked. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 24 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, trail running, and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

It was completed in 1956 by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright named Marguerite Brunswig Staude. It is rated the top attractions in Sedona. One glance at this uniquely constructed chapel and you’ll see why. National Geographic rated it as one of the 38 most awe-inspiring holy places to visit. The building itself stands at 250 feet tall, and stands atop a rock wall that is itself 1000 feet tall! The main stained-glass window is held together by a giant cross.
