Amusement park
Great place to leave your kids. Can't bring outside food or drink. Recommend park and parking pass if you plant to visit more than once a year. You can simply leave the park, eat and come back, as a meal for one is almost quadruple the price. They have a water park, included in the admission price.

1700 Hampton StGeneric animals. Mostly open space. About 100 acres. Great cure for obesity.
Don't stop driving until you reach the park. Great for biking. North entrance bike accessible, south you can carry your bike up some flights.

Museum
They have another one in the city, I would only go to this one. Its in the Short Pump Mall, across from the miniature train, near center of mall. You can ride train for about $2/human, starts around 1100. Lots of bu-gee people :)

Food scene
Great quality. It is technically a buffet, but they make it to order. The buffet part is that it is an all you can eat.

Neighborhoods
Like Portlandia, except without the reciprocal tolerance. Its literally about a dozen blocks on one street, everything else is housing; so just stay on Cary Street. Mostly junk (vintage) clothing, a few good restaurants. I always wonder why no panhandling in the adjacent neighborhoods that are 3+million/home. So odd. But on Cary, just a ninja stars throw away, panhandlers thick as thieves.
