This is one of our favorite places for “day trippin”. The drive is beautiful, especially in the Spring! We hit our favorite breakfast spot, Airport Diner, and eat pancakes while watching the planes take off and land. Then, we mosey along the famed streets of Fredericksburg checking out their local shops. The Lost Draw is our favorite winery to visit. On the way home, we like to go to Alamo Springs Cafe for the best burgers ever! There’s even a bat cave next door to watch the bats come and go at sunset.
