Nice place to hangout. The place used to but the economic centre for ship docks for thevwhole world. Now its an upcomming urban cultural spot. Lots of culture museums street art. Festivals flea market every month. Nice restaurants with beautiful views. From ndsm you can take the ferry to central station (15minutes). Makes a nice free excursion. You can walk here from our Tiny house in 30 minutes. Or take the bus.

Good food carefully prepared with lots of vegetarian options. And nice prices. Spaanders is situated at the Zonneplein. This square is not so well known by tourists but is architectural interesting. It is the hart of the neighborhood. The so called Tuindorp Oostzaan. Build in the 1920s.
