Metro is the fastest way around town
The metrostation "amagerbro" is located about 5 minutes from the apartment. The metroline will take you to the airport in one end, and the heart of Copenhagen in the other direction.
If you take the metro and get of at "Kongens Nytorv", you can connect with the city-circle, metroline M3 that will take you all around the center of Copenhagen in 24 minutes. This is the fastest way to get to the central station, nørrebro and Rådhuspladsen.

Grocery shopping in the area
"Fakta" is just up the street from the apartment. Look for the white "F" on a red background. It is the cheapest grocery store in the area, and have the most essential things for your stay.
If you walk down the street towards the metrostation, you will find "Amagercenteret", which is a small mall. Here are several shopping-possibilities, amongst these a store called "Føtex", which is a large (and a bit more expensive) grocery store where you can find anything you need.
