Put this on your bucket list! The grounds are amazing as is the tour of the house. Definitely recommend the Christmas tour. The restaurants and winery are spectacular. This is a beautiful drive from The Kennedy Hideaway.

Cherokee is a great place to see Elk, visit the casino, shop or visit Mingo Falls. This is a 120' waterfall that will certainly impress you! Don't let the short hike deter you. It is totally worth it. If you take highway 19 into Cherokee, plan on stopping at Soco Falls. It is another amazing waterfall that the family will love.

This is a popular tradition for our family and many of our guests. It is literally minutes from the cabin. Grab the kids and head out in search of the perfect Christmas tree. Get your picture taken with the tree before either the employees or you cut it down. The tent at the entrance has hot chocolate, hot apple cider and an assortment go goodies, all complimentary. They also sell wreaths and other accessories. You definitely need to go early in the season as they sell out quickly, usually within a week or so after Thanksgiving. This will certainly be a hit and probably become a family tradition.
