Lily's Burger
47 Hornsbergs StrandAward winning local bakery! Quiet place to start a day with a nice coffee or visit for a Swedish fika. Everything here is good and fresh. For classic Swedish fika - try any of their "bullar" (buns: cinnamon and cardamom are the classic ones) or smaller sweets like chokladbollar (=chocolate balls) or dammsugare (=vaccum cleaner!). Breakfast is served. Lunches are very light.

Neighborhoods
The area of land visible across the lake from us. It can easily be entered across the bridge. If you follow the waterside pathway, it will lead you to the boathouses (can look around!), a couple of water-front local restaurants and a typical Swedish 4H "Garden" (Gard) - home to animals (hourses, ponys, goats, sheeps, bunnies, etc.) that are a big draw for the little ones. The 4H in Solna is nestled next to a large playground and horse riding school.

Large park on the southern part of Kungsholmen. Can be walked to either by walking along Lindhagensgatan or by taking a tour around Kungsholmen. Classical Stockholm city line views and some nice cafes and restaurant along the path.

A walking path in the neighboring island of Sodermalm from which you see the post-card perfect views of Stockholm city, including the island of Kungsholmen. Easily reached by metro. Just step off at the Slussen stop.
