Biryani Palace has delicious and authentic Pakistani food. The couple that owns the restaurant are so nice and all the food is prepared fresh daily. I would recommend the Aloo Tikki Chaat, it is very flavourful and comes with a generous amount of sauce to dip in your Naan bread. The chicken 65 was also one of our favorites. Happy Eating!

Sightseeing
Here are some great activities you should experience while you are in Victoria. Best of all they are all free.
Beacon Hill Park is a beautiful park to walk around in with ponds, a rose garden, peacocks, ducks, and turtles. There is also a seasonal petting zoo from May to August.

Great patio and view of the Gorge waterway. The food is similar to Earle's, Brown's, and Cactus Club. They do have a good happy hour between 2pm to 5pm. I recommend calling ahead to make a reservation and to confirm the happy hour.

Getting Around
There are a few ways you can get around the city. Personally we recommend you walk downtown as we are so close. If walking is not for you try taking the bus right outside our house on Cook St. You can find all you need to know on the BC Transit website, www.bctransit.com.
