This restaurant is only a 1 min walk away from the apartment! Looking for a restaurant that will have you drooling the second you walk through the door? Mumtaz is the one for you. Not only will you get a stellar view across the river, but the decor is equally impressive – it’s all high ceilings, full-length windows and glittering chandeliers. Still don’t believe us? There’s a selfie corner for diners who really value a picture-perfect meal out.

When visiting Leeds Docks, you can make your experience even better by using the water taxi! Not only making the journey between Granary Wharf and Leeds Docks an easy one, you’ll get to see the city like never before, from experiencing Leeds from the wonderful waterways. Only £1 per person per journey and children under 5 ride free.
As you float leisurely down the river, you’ll pass a variety of fantastic sites, from classic architecture and historic locations to modern developments and interesting art installations.
Running times for Leeds Docks water taxi:
Monday to Friday: 7am – 7pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10am – 6pm
There are two water taxis that run every 15 minutes, although you can keep up to date live with Leeds Dock water taxi timetable updates from the Twitter account @LeedsWaterTaxis. Best of all, use of the water taxis is only £1 per journey, all of which gets invested back into making the water taxis better for riders. So there’s no excuse not to spend 10-15 minutes making this lovely journey.
Seating is available inside and out on the water taxi, so you don’t need to worry about being damp on a rainy day and comfortably seats 12 passengers so you and the family can travel in style. Keep an eye out for the yellow boat with water taxi on the back.

You can just turn up and drop in, all the equipment is provided and you can even salute the sun with outdoor yoga classes when the weather is fine. Of course, you could just sneak in for a cheeky massage. We won’t tell.
