Beautiful day drive to get to it...Take your time. Stop at the restored coke ovens, Hayes Falls, Penny Hot Springs and Red Stone on your way. Take suits, lots of water and explore the area as you aim for a ridiculously excellent lunch! True story.

This is a fun day trip and you can visit the Penny Hot Springs on your way! There's fabulous access to the Crystal River for a lunch on the bank and a cool dip and jump off a boulder in to the river! You can stop here or continue on to Marble, Colorado further on 133.

Still water fun, allows motorized boats. There's decent fishing up above the gap ( an easy 1/2 mile walk up above the falls!). The falls are beautiful!
