This popular trail runs behind our rental apartment. The parking area for the south entrance is just 1/2 a mile up the road on Route 86. The trail runs along an old railroad bed (tracks have been removed). Nice and flat, great for walking, cross country skiing and snowmobiling.

Popular hiking trail, a favorite for many. Approximately 1 mile to the summit. Located on Forest Hill Rd. Moody Pond is also located here, nice walking loop. Please observe all parking signs.

Paul Smith's VIC trails offer a lovely set of trails which are well maintained. Open all 4 seasons. Check website for current activities. Not overly crowded. Great photo opportunities.

Beautiful hiking trail located on Keese Mill Road, near Paul Smith's College. Perfect loop trail with gorgeous scenery. Easy/moderate walk. Wonderful pond to kayak or canoe. Peaceful, rarely crowded. Great Photo opportunities. There's a large boulder where you can sit for a while, have lunch and enjoy the nature show. There are lean to's and picnic tables, boardwalks and bogs. This is our personal favorite.

Popular eating spot. Reservations are recommended. Usually busy. If you don't mind loud music, it is a good place to eat. The pulled pork nachos are amazing. (skip the saucy cheese and ask for the pepperjack, yum!) Great margaritas too!!

Outdoor seating is available in summer.
