Coronado Beach. Next to the world famous Hotel Del Coronado this is my favorite Beach in San Diego. It's a very deep beach with lots of clean white sand. Parking can be a challenge so go early.

This one is great if you are looking for a beach close to restaurants and bars. There is a long boardwalk dividing the sand from the businesses. Belmont Park is our local small amusement park with a roller coaster and other rides and amusements is located at Mission Beach.
