On it's own, the Goleta Butterfly Grove is a beautiful slice of nature – but with the Monarch butterflies around in the winter months (mid-November through mid-February) it is a must see. 137 acres of natural terrain, and beautiful trails headed to the beach and bluff overlooks. If you're around in the Winter, make sure to stop by!

I love running down the small trails here in the morning – the scenery always makes my morning run that much more enjoyable. Great spot to hammock as well!

Right by UCSB's lagoon – and a great surf spot as well. The REEF, which has some wonderful touchtanks and marine life is open nearby as well.
