This is the closest cinema we have, and it is only a couple of years old! And while you are there, go explore East Dulwich and its many lovely shops, bars and restaurants. Bus 185 and 176 will bring you back to Forest Hill in 10-15 minutes or so.

Getting Around
Main local train station, with trains to London Bridge or Victoria, or take the Overground to Canada Water, Whitechapel or Highbury and Islington to connect with the tube network. You'll see the bus stops from the main entrance to the station.

Not an art gallery in the strictest sense, but every now and then the resident artists on Havelock Walk open up their studios for the general public to enjoy (and purchase a thing or two!). Look out for signs for their open days, you might be in luck during your stay!

This is a great museum, not only is most of it free, in the summer of 2016 it opened its new extension nearly doubling its space. A must do thing is to walk or take the lift up to the top floor in the new part - and you will have one of the best (free) views over London!

A great classic, with anything from Egyptian mummies to more recent historical objects. Best explored in sections as you won't have time to take it all in in one go.

A lovely park with a small lake, cafe, playgrounds for kids and fields. About half an hour walk from the flat or take 185, 176 or 197 to the Harvester pub stop and walk the last bit.

There are very few wooden areas in London, but this is one! Not huge, but well hidden and mainly known to the locals. Go for a lovely little stroll to get away from the big city hustle and bustle.
