West First is our go-to for wood-fired pizza/Italian food! It has indoor, outdoor and balcony seating and is located on the outskirts of downtown Hendersonville. Hendersonville has a really cute, quaint downtown with local coffee and beer, shopping, and restaurants.

Umi Sushi is just good sushi. It's not super fancy, but it has all the classics. It is located on the outskirt of downtown Hendersonville, and a great option for dine-in or carry-out. They have great lunch deals for 2 or 3 rolls + soup/salad around $12!

Shine is our go-to for a great dinner out! If you go, we highly recommend the Beef Bulgogi entree, and the Duck Fat Fries appetizer. The restaurant has delicious, local food, and is great for any meal and/or cocktails - they even make a great virgin cocktail! They have an extensive bar, and rooftop seating. If you only get to visit one restaurant downtown Hendersonville, this is the one we recommend as it is family-friendly and wheelchair accessible, so a great option for all.

Shine
202 N Main StShine is our go-to for a great dinner out! If you go, we highly recommend the Beef Bulgogi entree, and the Duck Fat Fries appetizer. The restaurant has delicious, local food, and is great for any meal and/or cocktails - they even make a great virgin cocktail! They have an extensive bar, and rooftop seating. If you only get to visit one restaurant downtown Hendersonville, this is the one we recommend as it is family-friendly and wheelchair accessible, so a great option for all.
This is a great, local sandwich shop located downtown. Delicious food, amazing service and they can customize for gluten/dairy-free as well. This is a fun place to stop while exploring downtown Hendersonville, and a great to-go option for a picnic or hike.

Arabella's is Mexican-American breakfast/brunch, and located downtown with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We always recommend this place for downtown brunch and lattes. If you’re looking for a suggestion, we highly recommend trying one of their renditions of huevos rancheros.

536 N Main StArabella's is Mexican-American breakfast/brunch, and located downtown with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We always recommend this place for downtown brunch and lattes. If you’re looking for a suggestion, we highly recommend trying one of their renditions of huevos rancheros.
If you're looking for a fancy dinner/date night with incredible food that is worth every penny, Postero is our top recommendation every time. The restaurant use to be an old bank, so the wine cellar is an old bank vault. The kitchen is open, so if you’re true foodies like us, we recommend reserving the balcony so you can see the chefs at work - it’s fun to watch! I know this doesn’t help narrow it down, but everything we’ve tried is delicious. From apps, to entrees and dessert, we can’t recommend just one thing. Their menu changes with the seasons - we promise you won't regret this one!
PS - We're not usually dessert people when eating out... except here. The best $8 you will spend the whole night is on their chocolate caramel dessert. Just order one to share for the whole table - it's very rich, and worth every single bite.

The best southern food around. Hendough started as a donut shop, and expanded to a lunch menu with fried chicken sandwiches and sides - and we’re all glad they did! Their peanut butter and jelly donut is our favorite donut, and the pimento fried chicken sandwich is a great entree. Either way, you won’t be disappointed!

Jackson Park has multiple tennis & pickle ball courts, and a great disc golf course. It does have several walking/biking trails, but they aren’t very smooth so it wouldn’t be my top-pick if that’s all you’re going to do.
