Good places to visit
It's where a lot of the westerns were filmed, due to its arrid desert and great light. They have a few shows throughout the day (it's not a bar, as it is listed as by Airbnb. It's a good day out and there is a swimming pool as well.

Steeped in history and built by the moors, it is a must see for travellers. It's approximate 100 miles from our place but only takes 1 1/2 hours by car due to the good road network and lack of cars. There is also a train from Almeria to Granada.

Bus, taxi or Rental Car
There is a bus service that runs from the main road which is a 10 minute walk from our apartment, it is very cheap.
Taxis are available but quite expensive.
Rental cars can be extremely cheap at Almeria Airport, my advice would be to take out a car hire excess insurance before you travel, try https://www.confused.com/car-hire-excess-insurance to find a quote.
