The Gothic Quarter, or Barri Gòtic, is a charming district that has narrow medieval alleys full of trendy bars, pubs and Catalan restaurants. Remains of the Roman city are exhibited in the Museu d'Història de Barcelona. Artisans sell leather goods and rhinestones in the immediate vicinity of Barcelona Cathedral, and flower and food stalls crowd the busy Rambla. In the Plaza del Pi, named after the attached Gothic church, an art market is installed every weekend.
