Horseback riding, clay shooting, Segway tours and guided Land Rover tours top the list but if you're just wanting to waste some time, you could walk the trails of Biltmore for hours

A long lazy float down the French Broad is an amazing time accompanied by some fresh local beers. Just make sure to pay attention to the river conditions for the day as they are closely monitored and somedays are better/cleaner than others to get in.

Chimney Rock is a straight piece of Americana. At the base a small town with ice cream shops, novelty shops, and all the bikers you could ever ask for. At the top, one of the most breathtaking 360 views you could ask for.

The van ride to the top of the mountain is probably the best part. Just imagine a 10 seater van with 40 inch mud tires blasting up a super steep slope on the side of a mountain, lots of fun. The zip lines are cool too, I'd recommend doing the zip lines and the adventure park for money well spent.

You may have heard of Catawba Brewing as this local brewery has grown to many other areas including Charlotte. This tap room is right down the street from the house located in scenic Biltmore Village. No food here unless you want chips or a pretzel.

Awesome BBQ place right next to the house. The que is amazing but I'd say they're mostly famous for their sides so make sure to look at the daily specials.
