Just go here. More than once. Get dessert. Try the fudge. Then go again!! Seriously good food, great atmosphere and service!! Our favorites are the cheese sticks, Flat Iron Salad, fish & chips, quiche, and all the pies!!!! Family friendly but also has a good selection of wines!!

Sightseeing
Jump Creek is a short drive, the last miles on improved gravel roads, then about a ten minute hike/walk. You have a chance of getting your feet wet if you choose to venture off the stepping stones crossing the creek along the way. While not handicap accessible, we find that most people are able to make the trip from young children to those of us who aren’t “young on the outside” so much anymore!! Do stay on the paths and heed any posted signs. Honor the locals by staying off private property. Some take inflatable rafts and enjoy floating below the falls and lounging in the “refreshing” (some say cold!) water!

An hour drive west of Homedale, Owyhee Reservoir in Oregon is a favorite for water enthusiasts. It boasts a length of 55 miles of gorgeous water that attracts fishermen and water sports fans! There are places you can access by car where you can put in a boat or relax along the shores. There are campgrounds and and a few cabins as well. Take a boat, paddle boards, or kayaks! Remember to get your Oregon fishing license and check all boating licensing, permit and registration laws for Oregon.

The Snake River Wine Region boasts over 15 wineries within 40 minutes of the bunkhouse!
This is our favorite winery for the views, beautiful grounds, tasting room and gift shop. They host special events such as weddings, receptions, small concerts and meetings! They have a nice selection of appetizers and even a milk tasting menu item for children!!
