"Ogród Saski" in Warsaw is a beautiful green area in the center of the capital, located near Krakowskie Przedmieście. It is a preserved element of the baroque Saxon Axis. It used to be a royal garden. Currently, the much truncated Saxon Garden covers an area of 15.5 ha, but still attracts many walkers, especially during concerts of military orchestras and ceremonies at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Hala Mirowska et Hala Gwardii is one of the places in Warsaw where pilgrims do not go shopping. Because a visit here is, at least for me, always a great event, after which my always too small kitchen magically extends to the capacity of the royal pantry.
