If some good authentic, Mexican food is what you see, El Jardin will not disappoint. They have a nice patio area for outdoor dining and did I mention they have good drinks!?

If you don't mind a short drive, just outside of Turlock you will find Turlock Lake. It is a small but beautiful lake with pretty views of surrounding hills. Go for a swim, fishing or a BBQ.

Just 45 minutes from The Perfect Staycation, this beautiful gem is perfect for a day activity. Pack a picnic and take plenty of water to hike up along side the Stanislaus River. If you are interested in River Rafting, search "River Rafting in Knights Ferry, CA" to find local companies that rent out rafts during the summer. It is fun and memorable experience.
