Groceries and supplies
The West Guilford Store is located on the way to the cottage on Kennisis Lake Road, right after you exit Highway 118. It is a 12 to 15-minute drive to the cottage. It has a
limited selection of food items, including fresh produce, frozen food, dairy products, baked goods
and cleaning supplies. There is an excellent butcher inside the store, at the back. The butter tarts
are a staple in the bakery aisle, but they go fast! You can also get firewood and fire logs, and refill
gas tanks (please do not bring the tank inside the store).
A Beer Store and LCBO are located inside the West Guilford Store. There is a good selection of brand
name and craft beers, but the spirits and wine selections are limited. (There is an LCBO and a Beer Store in Haliburton with a more comprehensive selection of wines,
spirits and beers.)
