Restaurants we advise in Antibes
This restaurant is perfect if you want to try fine French cuisine and winery. It is classified as "restaurant gastronomique", so the quality is the best you can find (ingredients are all fresh and local), and service is very elegant. Nevertheless, it remains quite affordable and they do have very nice and relatively cheap formulas for business lunch or even discovery formula for dinner where they serve one glass of different wine with each plate and you have several plates to try out (perfect for romantic date).
Me and my husband love to come here for special occasions or just for pleasure. There is no terrace and the restaurant is quite hidden in one of the tiny streets of Antibes old town, but this makes it even more charming.

Craving for some fresh seafood? Then this restaurant is perfect. Me and my husband love seafood a lot and we do feel the difference when fish is not fresh or poorly cooked. Here you have very nice and affordable options of grilled fishes, plateaux with oisters, shrimps, whelk, clams etc. You can even take away. We actually do take away quite often one plateau in particular which is called "L'Ecailler" - for 26EUR you have enough for two and good combination of different seafood (mostly raw). This restaurant is around 20min slow walking from the apartment and in front of the sea, so you can walk there for dinner or lunch.

This place is opened only at lunch time and only during weekend. Roland proposes only one dish - the main dish - and only one dessert - the dessert! On Saturdays it is usually Aioli, traditional dish in Provence with fish, boiled vegetables and garlic sauce - trust me, this is the best Aioli you will ever eat! Also, prepare to eat a lot! The dessert is incredible as well and depends on Roland's personal inspiration for that day. You can take house wine (instead of bottled wine) and will not be disappointed! Roland also serves top quality ham and cheese selection from Corsica on wooden tray.
Best place to pass Saturday or Sunday afternoon, whether it is sunny or raining, you will forget about everything (but you will not forget this place after being here, I promise). Better to call and book in advance as there are just few tables!

My advice would be to take the "menu of the day" to save some money as it is not the cheapest category of restaurant but remains all worth it considering the seaview.

- It is 1min walking from the apartment (in front of Palais des Congres).
- It does very good chicken or shrimp green curry!
- It is lead by very friendly Vietnamese family (mother, father and several dauthers) who also seem to also live there.
- It is always open (which is rare in the region, because most french restaurants do not serve anymore after 13h or after 21h, as too late...).
- It is cheap but tasty and quite healthy!
- You can call, order, then pass and take away if you want to eat at the apartment - comfortable option for lazy evenings.
