This place has amazing Sichuan food and, since it’s a well-established restaurant, it’s pretty easy to get a table without a reservation. I love the hot and numbing shredded tofu skin and the steamed soup dumplings.

Everything here is delicious and on par with Indian cuisine I’ve had in large cities.

The old wool mill was recently renovated and features shopping, restaurants and a brewery with great beer! You can park and walk/bike to Riverview Park for a lovely walk on a paved trail along the Rivanna River.

Parking is challenging, and reservations are highly recommended for dining as this is a really popular spot for locals and tourists. I recommend Now & Zen sushi, Citizen Burger, Brasserie Saison, and Petit Pois. Bebedero has excellent spicy margaritas. Oh Susannah! is a fun spot for gifts. Darling Boutique offers high-end consignment shopping (with some local artisan goods as well). Low Vintage has awesome, fun, reasonably priced vintage clothes and records, and if records are your thing Melody Supreme is A+.
