Ok this is a great little excursion! The restaurant is on Main Street in Franklin, one of the greatest small towns in America! Definitely go eat at 55 South and don’t miss the Shrimp and Grits.

Personally this is one of my favorites. As a kid, my aunt and uncle would take me here every time I visited Nashville. This place is an old school 50s burger and shake place. And it is authentic in all its 1950s glory. Parking is non-existent so I would just Uber. Only a couple of miles away so pretty easy. But check their hours before heading out.

Ok lots of food pictures here, which is great, it what we love is the swanky bowling alley and outdoor space. Get reservations early but this is a great spot while you are in town!

Printer’s Alley was the spot back in the day. In fact, my grandfather and few other folks got together in the 80s to revitalize the area back to its glory during the swing dance era.
Skull’s has a popular burlesque show and like everything else in Nashville these days - book early :)
