The closest lake with a public boat launch. If you explore a bit you'll find the underpass is a nice chill spot to drop a fishing line and have sun shade at the same time. Lots of ice fishing during the winter months.

For a real treat... follow the signs before turn at Deer Rock Lake Rd. that take you to The Pines Forest Trails..an area of looping trails through 127 acres of tall pine trees, gorgeous and serene.

A floating dock in the summer is a great place to go for a river swim, park for kids, free parking, directly off hwy 7.
